About Us

Wok is the brainchild of Federica Zambon and Simona Citarella, whose aim was to create a concept store that encourages artists and designers to explore new forms of expression and ideas. So the Wok boutique, which opened in 2007 in Milan’s Viale Col di Lana, hosts regular exhibitions and music events as well as stocking directional fashion designs for men and women. The Wok aesthetic is eclectic – pieces by a global mix of avant-garde designers like London’s Kokon to Zai rub shoulders with those from mainstream brands like Nike and American Apparel. There are magazines, books and cult toys, but each piece is carefully bought so the shop feels like a laboratory of great and inventive design.
